First Shift
The most auspicious ceremonial occasion ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of M.G.M Senior Secondary School, Sector 6, Bhilai was celebrated on 24th July 2023 with full zeal, zest and enthusiasm. The programme began with school prayer and lighting of ceremonial lamp.
Newly formed council- Head Boy and Head Girl along with sports Prefects, Cultural Secretaries, House Captains, Vice House Captains and prefects were honoured by respected Principal In-charge Mr. Shaji Chacko along with Chief Guest Dr. Sankalp Rai (Sr. Sub Inspector), Vice President of the school Rev. Fr. Shaji M. Baby, Assistant Vicar MGO Cathedral Rev. Fr. Shinu Cherian, Hon. Correspondent Mr. K.C Mathew, Shift In-Charges and other dignitaries.
The Principal In-charge of the school Mr. Shaji Chacko congratulated the newly elected council members and wished them to solemnly take their duties and responsibilities with utmost dedication and diligence. Head Boy and Head Girl administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of students’ Council swore into serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. The honourable Chief Guest Dr. Sankalp Rai graced the occasion with his motivational words. He guided the Students’ Council Members to be the role model and render their responsibilities sincerely as the Nation Builders of tomorrow. Sharique Hussain XI Maths/AI, mesmerized the occasion with his melodious voice. Then the Head Boy Daksh Bulchandani and the Head Girl, Hamna Zameer shared their views. This auspicious occasion was anchored by Pragya and Shreejesh Nair. Sandra Sunil XI CIP 3 delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
Second Shift

Newly formed council – Head Boy and Head Girl along with Sports Prefects, Cultural Secretaries, House Captains and Prefects were honoured by respected Principal Incharge Mr.Shaji Chacko along with Chief Guest Mr. Somesh Sharma (Alumini M.G.M School and an Entrepreneur), Vice President of the school Rev. Fr. Shaji M. Baby, Hon.
Correspondent Mr. K.C. Mathew, Shift In-Charges and other dignitaries. The 2nd Shift In-Charge Ma’am, Mrs. Minu Jacob congratulated the newly elected council members and wished them to solemnly take their duties and responsibilities with utmost dedication. The second shift Head Boy Master Rohit Chandwani of class 7E
administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council swore to serve their Alma Master with utmost sincerity and the best of their abilities.
The honourable Chief Guest Mr.Somesh Sharma an Alumini M.G.M shared his views on his old golden days in M.G.M. and encouraged the newly elected members with his motivational words. Students of classes 5,6,7 sang a melodious song. Then the Head Boy Rohit Chandwani and the Head Girl Gunjan Gelani shared their views. This auspicious occasion was anchored by Vaibhavee Soni and Yashap. Deputy Head Girl delivered the vote of thanks. The event of investiture ceremony concluded.
