Republic Day honours the date on which the constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950. This red-letter day was celebrated with great zeal, spirit and eclat by M.G.M. Senior Secondary School Sector-6, Bhilai on 26th January 2024.
Rev. Fr. Shaji M Baby Vice President of the school, Rev. Fr. Shinu Cherian Assistant Vicar M.G.O. Cathedral, Church and School Managing Committee Members, Mr. Shaji Chacko Principal In Charge, Shift Incharges, parents and students witnessed the program on the glorious day.
The program commenced with school prayer. National Flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Shaji M. Baby and the other dignitaries followed by National Anthem. In the cultural move some very inspiring songs were sung followed by stirring speeches and rhythmic dance performances. In his address Mr. Shaji Chacko Principal Incharge highlighted on the fundamental duties and rights. Children are the future of the nation. They should know their duties and rights. They should understand the responsibilities, perform their duties and contribute to the society and country.
Mementoes were distributed to the State Level Players who brought lawrels to the school. Sweets were distributed among the students. The program concluded with the National Song.
